The KENZO Baby & Kids Collection

The House of KENZO opened in 1970 in the Galerie Vivienne near the Palais Royal in Paris. Its creator and founder, Kenzo Takada quickly became one of the main precursors of the Seventies. He livened up the couture rules by charming with coloured, merry, spontaneous, poetic creations and by bringing a new freshness to the fashion world.

KENZO Baby & Kids clothing mixes moods and represents escaping the humdrum of everyday life, whilst keeping an informed, contemporary eye to all that’s rich and unusual in the world. Art Director ANTONIO MARRAS, juxtaposes and combines the cultures and flavours of all countries which is what the KENZO Kids brands is all about.

The KENZO Baby & Kidscollections are an invitation to travel the world in a new, different and constantly surprising way. The brand’s themes explore the marriage of contrasts: shimmering shades teamed with neutral tones, fine and woven fabrics in a patchwork mix, floral prints combined with graphic designs.

This Summer 2011 sees the KENZO Kids Collection following the original route of the label’s creator in the Seventies; from Yokohama, Japan to Paris, France, each stop along the way is illustrated by the colours and prints and seen in the textures and designs.

Tones of fuchsia, sky blue, pink and turquoise mix with lightweight cotton, silk and linen to create the perfect summer combination for KENZO Kids this Summer. The Kenzo Girls collection boasts a beautiful range of Spring / Summer dresses, sunhats, leggings, playsuits and swimwear.
