In California 1966, Paul Van Doren and his three partners opened up their first footwear store, selling manufactured rubber soled trainers directly to the public. Although specially designed for today’s extreme sports culture, Vans have become one of the first footwear brands to bridge the link between sports and style, becoming renowned for their modish designs, bold colours and comfortable in-soles.
