Since debuting their womenswear collection at Milan fashion week in 1985, Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have created a huge storm in the fashion industry, paving the way for other designers to follow. The D&G Junior Collection

Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, has been making a name for itself since debuting their women's collection for the first time in Milan 1985. The collection was launched to critical acclaim and following this eponymous premiere, knitwear, beachwear, lingerie, accessories and a men's wear collection soon followed, as well as boutiques opening in Milan, America and other cities worldwide. Dolce & Gabbana has now been organised into two central brands; D&G and Dolce & Gabbana. A home wear collection was launched in 1994, fragrances in 1997, eye wear and sunglasses in 1998, time in February 2000, underwear in March 2000 and children's and baby wear in 2001.
